Description
The Forest Legality Alliance is a multi-stakeholder initiative designed to reduce demand for illegally harvested forest products and to increase the capacity of suppy chains to deliver legal wood and paper in support of new consumer country import laws, including the US Lacey Act, as amended 2008. The allaince seeks to help all actors along supply chains--both large and small-understrand and respond to emerging demaqnd-side, forest product legality policies by leveraging the professional expertise, market power, networks and resources of its members.
