Central African Interfaith Peacebuilding Partnership (CIPP)

Building on the strengths of the various members of the consortium, CIPP has three strategic objectives: 1) Central African institutions assert their leadership role in building peace in the country; 2) livelihood security is strengthened as a foundation for peace; and 3) trauma healing and peace education programs contribute to social cohesion. Since many outbreaks in violence are based on religious tention in CAR, CIPP builds up the capacity of the Inter-Religious Platform (IRP) that is spearheaded by leaders of the Muslim, Catholic, and Evangelical communities and has played a high-profile role in promoting social cohesion.
Implementing Partner
