Description 
This project aims to strengthen pediatric services through the provision and scale-up of comprehensive family-centered pediatric HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment services, particularly in the Lake and Southern Highlands Zones. It in increasing the number of skilled health care workers with the capacity to provide comprehensive pediatric care and treatment services, both through formal short and long-term training and through clinical mentoring and quality enhancement initiatives. Additionally it addresses national policy issues related to the provision of pediatric care and support for children who are HIV positive on a platform of general pediatric care, in order to have a sustainable impact on maternal and child health (MCH), HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria through the combined efforts of partners.
